Information Changes Our Taste Buds

According to a recent study, the more information you have on your candy, the more you will either like or dislike it.  The survey gave people the same piece of chocolate but half of them where told where the chocolate was from (Switzerland) and the other half they didn't.  Apparently the people that didn't know where it was from suspected that it was from China, thus assuming that it was an inferior chocolate. I have often mentioned on this site that I try not to read packages, and this is precisely why.  This survey is also kind of sad because it assumes that most Americans think that all chocolate in China is crappy.
